Suggested Uses:
- Implement suggested instructional strategies to ensure high-quality instruction occurs in the general education setting
- Use universal screening to identify students with areas of academic and/or behavioral concerns and select appropriate strategies
- Match the suggested intervention strategies to student needs using documented screening data
- Select the intervention strategy and determine who will deliver the intervention and when/where (i.e., number of minutes, days per week, location)
- Implement the intervention strategies in a timely manner to be effective
- Provide opportunities for practice, feedback, and error correction as a part of the intervention strategy implementation
- Monitor to assess how the student responds to the strategy and to determine the effectiveness of the intervention
- Adjust an intervention strategy as needed (i.e., increase time, reduce group size, change materials or strategies, utilize flexible grouping)
- Use intervention strategies on a student’s RtI Individual Intervention Plan
