When I am creating my lesson plan, I use it to reference the TEKS that I need to cover and the depth of learning that is needed. I also use the differentiated instruction strategies to guide me on my instructions. It helps me from falling into a rut of doing the same thing over and over. It is a reminder of other ways to approach the lessons.
Your STAAR Flip Charts are so good. I want every one of my teachers to have it in hand at all times. I love the critical thinking elements and the vocabulary, too.
